Jurgis Adomavičius has had an entrepreneurial mind set from a very early age. He founded his first business while still in school and hasn‘t looked back since.
He studied international business management at Vilnius University in Lithuania and is an active member of the international business club, ChangerClub, and the Lithuanian Business Angels‘ network (LitBAN), established to invest in start-up companies.
Mr Adomavičius founded his company, Bunasta, seven years ago after spotting an opportunity in the logistics sector. He noted that truck drivers travelling between the European Union and neighbouring Eastern countries often spent many hours at the border waiting for the required customs paperwork. So Mr Adomavičius came up with the innovative solution to launch a remote customs service.
His insights and problem-solving approach resulted in Bunasta becoming the biggest customs services company in Lithuania. Yet Jurgis has not stopped there: he continues to focus on the future of logistics and sees big potential in digitalisation.
